ABOUT PROJECT
HIV/AIDS stigma does not allow effectively fight with this infection. The fear of discrimination often frightens the willingness of an individual to carry out a test regarding HIV and, in case it is detected, to go through treatment. This stigma may also affect the reputation of the whole family. In order to avoid the mentioned it is important not to be quite, to demolish myths, to be interested and take care of own health as well as surrounding people. Stigma is curable, if it is discussed aloud.
Objectives of Breaking The Silence:
-To encourage people doing the test regarding HIV free of charge in Health Care Centres of the country.
-To introduce with advantages of early diagnosis and with the fact, that being infected with HIV it is possible to live a long and fully-fledged life.
-To withdraw stigma related to HIV.
-Not to avoid discussing about HIV/AIDS, ways of infecting, as carriers of the virus may be more than of those, who already know being infected.
